# Frequently Asked Questions

## How do we get documentation to reflect git-based configuration items?

Release documents are populated with relevant items associated with that release version. In the case of git-based items, versions are based on the repository's versioning and the associated [Release ref pattern](https://docs.ketryx.com/manuals/man-09-git-based-configuration-items#id-8.-versioning) as defined in the [configuration settings](https://docs.ketryx.com/manuals/man-03-supply-chain-management-software-dependencies#id-3.-project-setup). The branch does not need to be merged into the **HEAD** branch in order for the items to appear in the relevant documentation; simply commit changes, and then click the _Refresh from Git_ button in the **SBOM** module and Ketryx will update to reflect the current state of all items associated with their respective versions.

These items will be made available to the relevant release documents and included upon document generation or refresh.
