# Can I archive document templates or store drafts somewhere in Ketryx?

> **In short:** Documents placed in a subfolder within the "Milestone," "Release," or "System" folders under "Templates" are effectively archived (more information on template locations here). They will not appear on the release screen for generation until they are moved out of the subfolder.

Documents placed in a subfolder within the "Milestone," "Release," or "System" folders under "Templates" are effectively archived (more information on template locations [here](https://docs.ketryx.com/reference/document-templating#template-locations)). They will not appear on the release screen for generation until they are moved out of the subfolder. This is also helpful if you want to keep templates that are still in development or not ready for use, placing them inside a subfolder within "Milestone," "Release," or "System" will hide them from the release screen until you move them out.

To make a template visible on the release screen once it is ready or to unarchive it, move it out of any subfolder within "Milestone," "Release," or "System" and place it directly within those folders.

These templates are still accessible within the file structure. You can view, edit, and move them as needed, but they won’t be listed for selection in the release process until they are moved out of a subfolder.
