# How do Xray items link with other items compared to Jira items?

Linking Xray test executions with Xrays tests is done using Xray links. Linking an Xray Test with a specification or requirement (in Jira) is a bit more complex. Xray tests can be linked to requirements or specifications via either Jira links or Ketryx custom fields. Xray tests cannot be linked to specifications or requirements through the Ketryx traceability widget. These conditions are summarized in the image below:
